The congress
Söz Bursa reported that the 15th Uludağ ENT Days, held in Bursa under the "TeknoKBB" theme, brought together specialists to examine AI-supported applications and tissue engineering — with the message that lab-produced tissues could one day be used like "spare parts" for the body, highlighted by a successful tissue transplant performed for a patient who had lost his lower jaw.
Prof. Karaaltın's presentation
The report noted that plastic surgeon Prof. Dr. Mehmet Veli Karaaltın drew attention with his presentation on the current state of tissue engineering and his predictions for the near future, saying that the finest quality of science is to serve humanity and that tissue engineering will hold a very important place in the medicine of the future.
