How does K-Glide™ work?
Custom vibration-assisted instruments separate tissue planes gently along their natural boundaries. Because the pocket is created without electrocautery and without tearing, there is less tissue trauma, less bleeding and better preservation of nerves and vessels, which supports sensation and a quicker recovery.
Who is it for?
First-time augmentation patients, patients who want the fastest possible recovery, and those who value preserving sensation and a natural result.
Recovery
Most patients return to their daily routine within 24–48 hours with minimal discomfort. Strenuous exercise and heavy lifting are resumed gradually according to the post-operative plan.
Frequently asked questions
How long does K-Glide™ breast augmentation take?
The operation can be completed in as little as 30 minutes, depending on the plan and implant pocket.
Do I need drains after K-Glide™?
No. The atraumatic dissection makes drains unnecessary in routine cases.
Which implants are used?
Implant type, size and pocket are chosen individually at consultation based on chest measurements and tissue quality.
Who developed K-Glide™?
K-Glide™ was developed by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Veli Karaaltın in Istanbul.
