Time in theatre and length of anaesthesia
Theatre and anaesthesia are charged by time. A single-stage operation costs less than a combined plan that treats several areas in one session.
Combined procedures
Combining procedures in one anaesthetic is usually less expensive in total than travelling twice, and it shortens overall recovery.
Hospital grade and length of stay
Operating in an internationally accredited hospital with full intensive-care backup costs more than a day-surgery clinic — and it is the reason the safety record holds.
Revision or secondary surgery
Correcting previous surgery takes longer, needs more planning and sometimes extra grafting, so a secondary case is quoted above a primary one.
